Our students are the main focus of our program.
Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in our program.
*Students must be diagnosed with a physical, mental, or emotional disability which impairs their ability to take part in a regular riding program.
*Students must be at least 2 years of age.
*Students must weigh less than 220 lbs.
*Students must behave in a manner that is not harmful to animals or volunteers.
*Students must be able to and consent to wear an ASTM approved helmet for the duration of the lesson.
*Students must have a letter from a physician regarding any precautions or possible contraindications.
*Students with Down Syndrome must be at lea st 2.5 years old and have proof of a negative cervical X-ray for atlantoaxial instability
